Lukas Kaufmann, is an extreme endurance cyclist from Austria. He finished in second place in his debut appearance at the Race across America (RAAM) 2024, completing the nearly 5,000-kilometer race in 8 days, 23 hours, and 12 minutes. This was one of the fastest finishing times in the history of the race. He was again the prospective second-place finisher of RAAM 2025.
He is supporting the Sam Owori projects by donating his jerseys/dresses worn at the RAAM and further equipment (helmets, etc.), which will be auctioned off during the Rotary District Conference of District 9213 in Entebbe in April 2026.
In addition, this will raise the profile of cycling, which is also developing as a sport in Uganda (with athletes such as Charles Kagimu and Florence Nakagwa).

After months, two containers with relief supplies arrived
In February 2024, we were given the opportunity to fill two containers with relief supplies from the Medical University of Innsbruck, the St. Johann District Hospital and many private donors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone once again.
